Inside the therapy room I use proven therapy techniques and a supportive, non-judgmental style to help clients move forward and grow. I help adults struggling with mood issues, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, attachment issues, and trauma by providing behavioral centered techniques that facilitate long-term outcomes.

When working with clients, I utilize an eclectic approach that includes CBT, Narrative Therapy, ACT, and Exposure and Response Prevention to help clients overcome challenges and accomplish goals. Across my career I have worked in a variety of mental health settings including outpatient private practice, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and crisis settings.

I tailor methods to meet individual needs. I invite clients to explore their inner narratives, confront unhealthy patterns, and address compromised self-concepts, paving the way for self-discovery, resilience, and meaningful change. When not at work, I enjoy cozying up with a good book, walks by the lake, or catching up on the latest episode of dateline.

She/her

When I think about self-care and mental well-being, I think about connection—how we relate to ourselves, each other, and the world around us. For me, community, creativity, play, curiosity, and integrity are at the heart of healing. In my work, I strive to create a space that honors these values—a space where experiences are validated, trust is built, and transformation can unfold at a pace that feels right for each individual. I believe in the wisdom people carry within themselves. My role is to walk alongside you, helping cultivate self-awareness, self-agency, and grounded presence. Healing doesn’t always have to be heavy—I also value lightness and humor, and bring those into our work together as we navigate life’s challenges.

My clinical focus includes supporting individuals navigating depression, anxiety, grief, complex and developmental trauma (CPTSD), and major life transitions. I have a particular passion for working with individuals living with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)—a condition that is often misunderstood and misrepresented, even within mental health spaces. I use evidence-based practices such as exposure therapy, combined with supportive, relational approaches, to help clients manage uncertainty and restore a sense of clarity and control in their lives.

In addition to my work with OCD and trauma, I have experience supporting current and former athletes, including those who have transitioned out of their sport—whether by choice or through unexpected circumstances such as career-ending injuries. I understand the unique identity challenges and emotional impacts that can come with leaving behind a competitive or high-performance lifestyle.

As a first-generation American from a Polish family, I bring cultural sensitivity and a personal understanding of bicultural experiences into my work. Although I haven’t spoken Polish fluently since childhood, I currently have intermediate proficiency and enjoy connecting with individuals who share a similar background or immigrant experience.

My path to this work has been shaped by many different experiences, including my time as a student-athlete. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Duke University and a master’s degree in Community Counseling from Loyola University Chicago. Outside of the therapy room, I recharge through performance art, modern and salsa dance, and skateboarding—playful outlets that keep me connected to joy and movement.

Everyone deserves to live a meaningful life, no matter what we have experienced or where we may come from. Therapy can be a great place to explore your values, beliefs, & attitudes, & examine how you might reorient those concepts to align with your authentic self. My clients are the experts on their own lives, and I am here to facilitate your exploration of yourself, others, & your worldview to find meaning in life. I have worked in community mental health for six years, & I focus on trauma-informed care for those with complex trauma histories, specializing in complex trauma, grief, & existential concerns as a therapist.

As an existential-humanistic therapist, I aim to guide you in exploring what it means to be human & take responsibility for your life. I am trauma-informed & person-centered, ensuring therapy sessions are led by your pace in a way that feels safe to you, with goals aligned with your hopes & needs. As a divorced, cisgender, LGBTQ woman living with a chronic illness, I recognize & affirm your intersecting identities, while understanding I can never know your experiences firsthand.
