Meet Our Therapists
I am a psychotherapist committed to empowering individuals to move from surviving to thriving. I utilize a set of eclectic evidenced based approaches that are grounded in the importance of a mind-body connection to address the impact of complex issues, including trauma, mood disorders, complex anxiety, OCD, and perfectionism. My practice is centered on anti-oppressive values, actively affirming intersectionality and recognizing that societal biases significantly impact mental well-being.
In sessions, we collaboratively engage in shame work and identity exploration to cultivate healthy self-esteem and self-worth that facilitates unconditional acceptance of the whole self. I frequently support clients navigating difficult life transitions, chronic burnout, necessary boundaries setting, and challenging interpersonal relationships.
A core tenet of my work is the philosophy of redefining what functioning means: Giving ourselves permission to exist without expectations or standards that are inherently biased and misaligned with our realities and intersectionalities. Through compassionate, trauma-informed care, we can work to reclaim your narrative and foster sustainable well-being.

Everyone deserves to live a meaningful life, no matter what we have experienced or where we may come from. Therapy can be a great place to explore your values, beliefs, & attitudes, & examine how you might reorient those concepts to align with your authentic self. My clients are the experts on their own lives, and I am here to facilitate your exploration of yourself, others, & your worldview to find meaning in life. I have worked in community mental health for six years, & I focus on trauma-informed care for those with complex trauma histories, specializing in complex trauma, grief, & existential concerns as a therapist.
As an existential-humanistic therapist, I aim to guide you in exploring what it means to be human & take responsibility for your life. I am trauma-informed & person-centered, ensuring therapy sessions are led by your pace in a way that feels safe to you, with goals aligned with your hopes & needs. As a divorced, cisgender, LGBTQ woman living with a chronic illness, I recognize & affirm your intersecting identities, while understanding I can never know your experiences firsthand. I enjoy using humor, creative interventions, & a holistic mind-body approach in my therapy sessions. I believe in the healing power of nature, animals, & movement in mental healthcare.
It is a privilege to know you & I look forward to our work together.
